Arturo Vidal ChileChile star Arturo Vidal will be fully fit for the upcoming World Cup, Juventus medical team have revealed on Saturday.

The 26-year-old had a surgery on his knee some ten days ago, which sparked speculations that he might not be ready for the 2014 World Cup.

However, the Bianconeri have revealed that his recovery is going as planned and that Vidal will take part at the tournament finals in Brazil.

“He will be available for the World Cup,” Juventus doctor Fabrizio Tencone was quoted as saying.

“Arturo left Turin with his knee in the best possible condition after the operation. Now the Chile medical staff will evaluate him.”

And with Vidal having developed into one of world’s best midfielders, there are no doubts Chile national team will be heavily relying on him to try and upset the odds at the tournament finals.

Having been placed in Group B alongside Spain, Netherlands and Australia, La Roja are 2.00 (1/1) to qualify for the knockout stages.
