Brazil vs PanamaHaving hammered Panama 4-0 few days ago, Brazil should face a more serious task in their final warm-up game against Serbia.

The Eagles have been far from impressive in friendlies against Jamaica and Panama, but they will not be lacking motivation when they face the 2014 World Cup hosts.

There is just another week before Brazil take on Croatia in the opening fixture at the 2014 World Cup and there are no doubts the players are under a lot of pressure at the moment.

Luiz Felipe Scolari opted for the tried and tested squad for the tournament finals, picking his players based on their performances in the national team rather than current form, and it appears he was spot on in his decisions.

The Seleccao extended the winning run in international friendlies to eight games with a comfortable 4-0 triumph over Panama and they are now 1.22 (2/9) favourites to win the game and 1.91 (10/11) to score three or more.

With this being the final warm-up game and a perfect test for the Croatia match, Scolari is set to field a very strong line-up, albeit not relying on the team that is expected to start on 12 June.

The likes of Thiago Silva, Paulinho and Fernandinho should start after missing the Panama game, while Bernard could play some part as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Julio Cesar – Alves, Thiago Silva, Luiz, Marcelo – Fernandinho, Paulinho – Hulk, Willian, Neymar – Fred.

Serbia may have failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup, but it appears the squad rejuvenation process has gone as planned, meaning the future is bright for the Eagles.

And while Premier League stars Branislav Ivanovic and Aleksandar Kolarov remain important players in the side, the likes of Nemanja Matic, Dusan Tadic and Lazar Markovic are the up-and-coming stars expected to help the national team return to its glory days.

Since ending the World Cup qualifying campaign, Serbia defeated Republic of Ireland and Jamaica, before sharing spoils with Panama on Sunday.

Interim manager Ljubinko Drulovic hasn’t quite managed to get the best out of his team during the North American tour, but he will be hoping for a better performance against Brazil.

And while keeping a clean sheet is likely to prove mission impossible, Serbia can be trusted to score at least one goal at odds of 2.10 (11/10).

The likes of Adem Ljajic, Zeljko Brkic and Milan Bisevac have been ruled out through injury, but Milos Jojic should return to the starting line-up.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Stojkovic – Basta, Ivanovic, Mitrovic, Kolarov – Jojic, Matic – Tosic, Tadic, Markovic – Mitrovic.
