Lyon vs MonacoHaving held Juventus to a goalless draw in Turin, Sevilla now have a good chance to make an important step towards the next stage.

Lyon, on the other hand, enjoyed a comfortable triumph over Dinamo Zagreb in their opener, but the win will mean little if they lose at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Despite winning three straight Europa League trophies, Sevilla also hope to enjoy success in the Champions League, and they have enjoyed a bright start this term.

Los Rojiblancos were able to share spoils with star-studded Juventus in Turin, but they have since had mixed results on domestic stage.

Away draw with Eibar was followed by derby win over Real Betis, but Sevilla were then beaten by top 4 rivals Athletic Bilbao, so it’s now back to the drawing board for Jorge Sampaoli.

But, with los Rojiblancos winning all three home games in La Liga this term, bear in mind they are priced at 1.80 (4/5) to extend the bright home run.

Jorge Sampaoli should have Adil Rami and Daniel Carrico back to the side, but Michael Krohn-Dehli, Benoit Tremoulinas and David Soria are definitely out.

It remains to be seen whether Ganso and Wissam Ben Yedder will make the matchday squad as they were left out two times in a row.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Rico – Mariano, Rami, Carrico, Escudero – Iborra, N’Zonzi, Nasri – Vitolo, Vietto, Vazquez.

Lyon have been regular in Champions League group stages and they secured automatic berth for this year’s edition thanks to second-placed finish in Ligue 1.

Les Gones have been far from impressive in the new league championship, losing three of first seven matches, but they enjoyed a very good start to the European campaign.

Lyon turned on the style in their opening Champions League fixture to defeat Dinamo Zagreb 3-0, as they completely outclassed the Croatian champions.

Les Gones have since shared spoils with Marseille and hammered Montpellier 5-1, but they were then beaten by Lorient at the weekend.

Head coach Bruno Genesio faces a genuine selection headache at the moment considering that he could be without three important players in Seville.

Namely, Alexandre Lacazette, Clement Grenier and Christophe Jallet are all struggling through injury and face late fitness tests.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-1-1): Lopes – Yanga-Mbiwa, N’Koulou, Morel – Rafael, Darder, Ferri, Tolisso, Rybus – Fekir – Cornet.
