Real Madrid can secure their qualification for the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday evening as they take on Paris Saint Germain at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The visitors and Los Blancos sit second and first respectively in Group A, with the French outfit having already progressed through to the next round and only needing a point in Spain to win the group. Elsewhere, Zinedine Zidane’s men are five points clear of Club Brugge, with a draw again enough for them to qualify. PSG are at odds of 1/66 with William Hill to win the group, with Madrid at 14/1 to instead top Group A.

However, in order for the Spanish outfit to do that, they must at first beat PSG on home soil. Their past form against this week’s opponents suggest that they could do just that though. The French champions have not won away from home against Real Madrid since a 1-0 success way back in March 1994. Real Madrid can be backed at a price of 13/10 with Betfair, with a draw at 11/4. Meanwhile, Paris Saint Germain can also be backed at 19/10 to make it back-to-back victories against Los Blancos following their 3-0 success at the Parc des Princes earlier in the campaign.

One aspect that supporters will be looking forward to ahead of the match in Madrid is the sheer amount of attacking talent on show. Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema, Edinson Cavani, Gareth Bale, Angel Di Maria and Neymar are just a few in a long list of brilliant forwards that could be on show on Tuesday evening. French forward Karim Benzema is the favourite to open the scoring in the match at a price of 4/1 with Paddy Power. Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe will surely be one of the prime candidates to score the opener and is available at a price of 11/2.

Former Barcelona forward Neymar could make his return to the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday having not played a single minute in the competition yet this season through a combination of suspension and injury. However, there is slightly more concerning news in midfield with Marco Verratti and Ander Herrera both doubtful, whilst Thilo Kehrer is ruled out.

Regarding the hosts, Toni Kroos could return to the starting lineup having been rested against Real Sociedad at the weekend. However, James Rodriguez and Marco Asensio are ruled out, whilst Lucas Vazquez is also restricted to the sidelines. Defender Nacho also remains doubtful.
