According to L’Equipe, Bayern Munich and Schalke are tracking Bordeaux keeper Cedric Carrasso following his impressive performances this season.

The French international has been the only bright spot in Les Girondins’ disappointing season so far and he is now linked with a move to Bundesliga.

Schalke are looking for a replacement for Manuel Neuer, who is on the verge of leaving the club, and they see Carrasso as the perfect fit for the place between the sticks.

Bayern, on the other hand, have only recently appointed Thomas Kraft as their number one keeper, but Louis van Gaal is not yet sure how the youngster will act under pressure and he could move for Carrasso before the Champions league resumes in February.

Bayern and Schalke are the only two German teams that made it through to the Champions League knockout stages, where they will be pitted against Inter and Valencia respectively.

Victor Chandler pays 3.75 (11/4) on both German teams to qualify for the next round. The same price is given on no German teams to qualify, whereas the price on one German team to go through is 1.73 (8/11).
