Tottenham Hotspur winger Steven Bergwijn has admitted that he is frustrated at the club because of his lack of playing time.

Bergwijn has made four starts and 14 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season.

The Netherlands international winger has scored two goals and given one assist in those games.

Bergwijn told Algemeen Dagblad: “I don’t get to play much at the club. I am happy that the national coach has called me up.

“Everyone wants to play of course. I have to keep my head up and work hard in training. Then we’ll see what happens in the summer.”

Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 51 points from 29 matches, three points behind fourth-placed and bitter North London rivals Arsenal, who have played 28 games.

Antonio Conte’s side are rated at 23/10 on Betfair to finish in the Champions League places this season.
