Villarreal vs ValenciaDespite losing two of their last three matches, Villarreal still sit in the top 4, although they obviously need to defeat local rivals Valencia.

Los Che recovered well from the home defeat to Real Socieadad to hammer St Gallen in Europa League, but they, nonetheless, face a tough task at El Madrigal.

After deservedly returning to where they belong this summer, Villarreal enjoyed a brilliant start to the new league campaign, hinting that a return to old glory days was not too far away.

As a result, the club’s appetites have grown, with everybody now believing the team can join the chase for European places.

And while defeats to Real Betis and Athletic Bilbao on the road have acted as blows to the players’ confidence, the Yellow Submarine appear to have the right mindset for the Valencia clash.

With the hosts very motivated to do well against neighbours and potential rivals for a top 4 finish, you should know home win pays 2.05 (21/20).

Boss Marcelino Garcia Toral has been handed a huge boost ahead of the Valencia game given that captain and best player Bruno Soriano has had his red card rescinded, meaning he is free to face los Che.

There are no fresh selection worries for the hosts, although Gabriel Paulista, Bojan Jokic and Francisco Farinos remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Asenjo – Mario, Musacchio, Dorado, Costa – Aquino, Pina, Soriano, Cani – Dos Santos, Pereira.

New Valencia boss Miroslav Djukic faced a very difficult task after seeing a number of key players leave Mestalla during the summer.

With the club failing to attract other high-profile players, los Che had a disappointing start to the season, losing four of first five matches, but they have since shown a considerable improvement.

While victories over Kuban and St Gallen saw the team close in on Europa League knockout stages, ten points from four league matches helped them close the gap behind European positions.

And even if home defeat to last year’s top 4 rivals Real Sociedad came at a bad time, Miroslav Djukic must have been delighted to see his youthful side respond with a 5-1 hammering of St Gallen.

With a number of key players now set to be recalled, Valencia look a good bet at 4.00 (3/1) to claim maximum points at El Madrigal.

Apart from Diego Alves, Djukic will have fully fit squad to choose from, with quite a few first team regulars set to return after they were rested in midweek.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Guaita – Pereira, Costa, Mathieu, Guardado – Fuego, Banega – Feghouli, Jonas, Pabon – Postiga.
