Sevilla vs ValenciaMidway through the season, Sevilla and Valencia will battle for a chance to lead the top 4 chase in a classic six-pointer at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Los Rojiblancos currently have a one-point advantage and a game in hand, meaning they can make a giant step towards Champions League qualification.

Buoyed by the arrival of new owner and a number of quality footballers, Valencia enjoyed a bright start to the season, and they never looked back.

With no European distractions, los Che were able to fully focus on domestic competitions, although they have yet to return to La Liga top 4.

Valencia surprisingly crashed out of the Copa del Rey having been eliminated by Espanyol, but that should give them an advantage over Sevilla, who continue to battle on three fronts.

And with los Che winning four of last five league fixtures, bear in mind they are available at 2.20 (6/5) to win at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

The hosts will welcome back key defender Nicolas Otamendi to the side after he recovered from an ankle injury, but Pablo Piatti remains sidelined and Sofiane Feghouli is away on international duty.

Former Sevilla star Alvaro Negredo is pushing for a starting place after scoring the winner against Almeria by coming off the bench.

Probable starting line-up (4-1-4-1): Alves – Barragan, Mustafi, Otamendi, Gaya – Fuego – Rodrigo, Parejo, Gomes, Perez – Alcacer.

Sevilla are doing much better than anyone could predict this season and they look determined to keep the rich vein of form for as long as possible.

The Europa League holders eased off to the next stage of the European competition, while also making it to Copa del Rey quarter-finals, although they face an uphill task of reaching the semis.

Sevilla produced their worst performance in months as they were beaten 3-1 by Espanyol in the first leg, but the injury-time goal scored by Carlos Bacca give them a lifeline ahead of the return match at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Meanwhile, los Rojiblancos have been outstanding in La Liga, winning five if last six matches and keeping five clean sheets in the process, and they are 3.60 (13/5) to extend the impressive run at Mestalla.

Coach Unai Emery will have a number of star players back after they were rested in midweek, but Benoit Tremoulinas and Sebastian Cristoforo are out injured.

Stephane M’Bia is away on international duty, captaining Cameroon at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Beto – Figueras, Carrico, Kolodziejczak, Navarro – Iborra, Krychowiak – Deulofeu, Banega, Reyes – Bacca.
