Valencia vs SevillaValencia aim to further close the gap behind their top 4 rivals with what would be third straight victory in La Liga, whereas Sevilla hope to build on a narrow win over bottom-placed Osasuna.

Los Che had a really slow start to the league campaign, with their Champions League campaign proving to be a real bother at the time when a number of first team regulars was missing.

While doing well to reach the Champions League knockout stages, where they will face PSG, Valencia continued to struggle on domestic stage, with boss Mauricio Pellegrino paying the price for the dismal results.

That proved to be a great decision by club chiefs as los Che showed a considerable improvement under new boss Ernesto Valverde, winning six of seven games since the talented boss arrived at the helm.

After winning their last three games in all competitions, Valencia are 2.10 (11/10) with bet365 to see off Sevilla as well.

Even if they are now four points adrift of fourth-placed Malaga, los Che look a good bet to finish the campaign in top 4, with BetVictor paying 4.50 (7/2) on Ernesto Valverde’s side.

Fernando Gago has resumed full training and is expected to feature, but Jeremy Mathieu and Sergio Canales are not yet ready to return. Nelson Valdez is available despite carrying an elbow injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Alves – Pereira, Rami, R. Costa, Cissokho – Banega, Gago – Feghouli, A. Costa, Guardado – Soldado.

Sevilla have spent a lot of time in their attempt to establish themselves as one of the top sides in La Liga, but the club look set to ruin all the hard work this season.

Despite boasting a very good squad of players, boss Michel has failed to get the maximum out of his side, and that is why los Rojiblancos are now close to relegation zone than European places.

Narrow win over Osasuna, which ended a four-match winless run in La Liga, ensured the boss remains at the helm for a few more weeks, but a defeat at Mestalla would certainly prove costly.

Sevilla’s away record in La Liga only adds to the worries, given that the team have brought just one point from last six league matches on the road.

Taking all this into account, there is a reason why los Rojiblancos are as much as 4.00 (3/1) with BetFred to win at Mestalla.

Defender Coke is back to the side after serving a one-match ban, but Campana and Piotr Trochowski remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Lopez – Cicinho, Fazio, Spahic, Navarro – Medel, Kondogbia – Navas, Rakitic, Reyes – Negredo.
