Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele has revealed the exact date when he expects to return into action from injury.
The club’s marquee signing picked up a difficult hamstring injury early into his career at Camp Nou, and it appears he is finally closing in on his return.
Ousmane Dembele has moved to reveal that he expects to resume training with the squad in some two weeks.
“In two weeks, I’ll start working with the squad again,” the 20-year-old told Canal+ during the visit of former club Rennes.
“Has my care programme accelerated my recovery? Yeah, I’d say so. I’ve worked every day – even holidays and every Sunday to regain my fitness.”
Ousmane Dembele joined the Catalans in a €105 million deal from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, and he fared well in his first few appearances for the club.
