Premier League forwards Marcus Rashford and Harry Kane top Barcelona’s wishlist in their search for a replacement for Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan, who was signed from Liverpool in a £75m deal over five years ago, will be 33 in January and it has been suggested that the Catalan giants will be looking for his successor relatively soon.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Kane and Rashford of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United could be the prime candidates to arrive at the Camp Nou. The English duo have been in excellent form in recent years, with Kane in particular forging a reputation as one of the most prolific out-and-out strikers in the world.
In 266 appearances for Tottenham, the 26-year-old has netted 174 goals. He has taken that goalscoring form onto the international stage having plundered 28 strikes in only 43 caps. Rashford, meanwhile, hit a milestone for the Red Devils in the 3-1 win over Norwich City at the weekend as he hit his 50th goal for the club in what was his 183rd appearance in all competitions.
The two can be backed to be named the top goalscorer in the Premier League this season. Kane sits at odds of 5/1 with Paddy Power to net the most goals in the league, whilst Rashford is some way behind at a price of 35/1.
