According to reports in Spanish publication Marca, Italian champions Juventus have opened talks with Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The reports, via Calciomercato, suggest that the Old Lady have offered the now 33-year-old a deal worth £106million over the next four years in an effort to convince him to exit the Santiago Bernabeu.

Further suggestions also imply that the Portuguese forward would be open to leaving the club he joined in 2009 and has enjoyed plenty of success with. Since his switch from Manchester United, he has made 438 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish giant and has scored 450 goals. He has won two Spanish league titles, four UEFA Champions League crowns, two Copas del Rey and four Ballon d’Ors in his time with Los Blancos.

Ronaldo also enjoyed a particularly profitable World Cup campaign in Russia this summer. Despite Portugal exiting at the first knockout round, he still netted four goals including a hat-trick in his opening game against Spain.

There were rumours swirling following this year’s Champions League final that he could have played his last game for Real Madrid, and right now Juventus seems like his most likely destination should he look for a new challenge.

He can be backed at 1/3 with Paddy Power to make the switch to the Serie A giants, whilst the odds for him to stay at Real Madrid are 11/4.
