Luka Jovic has confirmed his intentions to continue fighting for his spot at Real Madrid after his loan spell with Eintracht Frankfurt comes to an end at the end of the season.

The Serbian striker rejoined the Bundesliga outfit on-loan in the January transfer window and has endured a somewhat inconsistent period having netted just three goals in 12 league games since his arrival.

It is form that mirrors his troubles with Los Blancos with the striker having only found the net on two occasions in 32 appearances for Real.

Despite that, the 23-year-old has suggested that he aims to keep fighting for his future at the Santiago Bernabeu next season and beyond.

Talking to Cadena Cope, Jovic said: “Eintracht is a special club for me in every aspect, but everyone knows that officially I am a Real Madrid player, and that is where I will return at the end of the season.

“It is logical that I can only talk about the next steps in my career.”

The striker will hope to end his lean spell in front of goal this weekend as Frankfurt do battle with Wolfsburg on Saturday afternoon.

Jovic can be backed at a price of 5/1 with Betfair to net the opening goal of the match.
