Having already lost to one El Clasico rival, Atletico are eager to prove they should be considered genuine title contenders, but matching Barcelona at their Camp Nou is definitely easier said than done.

Even if many doubted virtually unknown Tito Vilanova would be able to succeed at Camp Nou, the talented tactician has been doing brilliantly this season.

While qualifying from the top of their Champions League group, the Catalans have been absolutely amazing in the league, winning 14 games and only sharing spoils with Real Madrid.

Despite being 11 points clear of their arch rivals, Barcelona cannot afford to relax just yet given that Atletico Madrid are breathing down their necks, but the Catalans are 1.30 (3/10) with Coral to win their ninth successive league games.

After breaking Gerd Muller’s record and adding two more goals to his tally in Copa del Rey, Leo Messi is 1.40 (2/5) with Stan James to continue his scoring run.

Dani Alves is expected to start despite skipping training earlier this week, while Adriano Correia returns to the side.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Valdes – Alves, Puyol, Pique, Alba – Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta – Pedro, Messi, Villa.

After the impressive finish to the season under Diego Simeone, Atletico Madrid were tipped to make some waves this term, but nobody could predict the Vicente Calderon outfit would be effectively in the title race midway through the league campaign.

Led by amazing Radamel Falcao, but with other players also chipping in, los Colchoneros enjoyed a memorable start to the La Liga campaign, climbing to the second place in the standings.

Despite sitting five points in front of Real Madrid and just six behind Barcelona, Atletico have failed to prove they can mix it up with the best sides in Spain, having shown little in the 2-0 defeat at Santiago Bernabeu.

This has, however, made the players even more determined to impress against Barcelona, so bear in mind Atletico are 3.75 (11/4) with bet365 not to lose at Camp Nou.

Having netted 16 times in 14 league games, Radamel Falcao is 2.90 (19/10) with BetVictor to score against Barcelona.

The Colombian is set to start after recovering from injury, while Adrian Lopez and Cristian Rodriguez are both injury doubts.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Courtois – Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Filipe Luis – Mario, Gabi – Koke, Diego Costa, Turan – Falcao.
