FalcaoSpanish giants Atletico Madrid have revealed they are already planning for life without star striker Radamel Falcao Garcia.

The Colombian has been heavily linked with a move abroad following yet another impressive season at Vicente Calderon, with top European clubs lining up for his services.

It appears that Atletico chiefs are slowly coming to terms with losing their star player, as witnessed by the latest statement from chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin.

“Atletico knows how to change good strikers,” Marin told Sky Sports. “Fernando Torres, Forlan, Aguero and now Falcao.

“We don’t know who exactly will be the next one but we know Atletico will have a strong team next season.”

At the moment, free-spending Manchester City are 2.00 (1/1) favourites with BetVictor to sign the highly rated forward in the summer.

The Citizens are planning a major squad overhaul and they have reportedly made the Colombian their number one target.

French giants Monaco are believed to have already opened talks with the player’s representatives and they are 3.00 (2/1) to lure Falcao to Stade Louis II.

Manchester United are surprisingly just 5.00 (4/1) despite never really being linked with the player, while Chelsea are 9.00 (8/1).

Falcao, 27, has scored a total of 70 goals in just 90 competitive appearances for los Colchoneros, thus further establishing himself as one of the most prolific scorers in world football.
