Spanish giants Real Madrid appear to be preparing themselves for a summer overhaul which could potentially see major changes made to the current Los Blancos squad.
Real Madrid president is thought to be disappointed with how the current season is unfolding following the huge El Clasico blow, which has effectively reopened the La Liga title race that seemed as good as over only weeks ago.

Perez is planning to rejuvenate the squad and a couple of names have already been mentioned as part of his new project. One of them – much to a great surprise – the Liverpool defender Joe Gomez.

And with Pepe set for a China move at the end of the season and Sergio Ramos heading into later stages of his career it is Joe Gomez who is eyed as a potential long-term replacement for the duo.
Real Madrid’s priority remains the polyvalent David Alaba, but Diario Gol suggest that young Liverpool defender Joe Gomez is very highly rated at Santiago Bernabeu.
The 19-year-old defender has not managed a single start for Liverpool this season after recovering from a serious knee injury, but Jurgen Klopp keep the boy in high regard and is believed to have big plans for the England U21 international.
The Liverpool prospect has only made three appearances for Reds this season, all coming in the FA Cup.
