Real MadridWith Real Madrid on course for a trophyless La Liga campaign, major changes are expected during the summer transfer window with Los Blancos president Florentino Perez ready to overhaul the current squad.

The 1-1 draw at Malaga and the 1-0 Madrid Derby defeat at Santiago Bernabeu have set the alarm bells and the atmosphere within Real Madrid is believed to be inflammable.

Real Madrid are firm favourites at 1.36 (4/11) @Bet365 to record a win in the next round against Celta Vigo and will be under huge pressure to do so, having in mind that another set-back could even put their third-place finish in danger.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the centre of attention because of his claims that Real Madrid would be top of La Liga if every player in the team was on his level after the loss to Atletico. The Portuguese star slammed a couple of his teammates as the likes of Mateo Kovacic, Lucas Vazquez among others, but has reportedly apologized to his teammates on Monday.

However, his word of dissatisfaction along have started the rumour mill with Cristiano Ronaldo once again being touted for a move back to the Premier League and Manchester United in particular.

Somewhat different and unexpected rumours are coming from Iberia and the Spanish daily Sport, who claim that Cristiano Ronaldo and club’s captain Sergio Ramos have both handed in Real Madrid transfer requests.

If true, this story plunges the crisis at Los Blancos to a completely new level.

Two key players in Zidane’s team are apparently once again unhappy at Real Madrid and are ready to quit the club in the summer.

In addition to Ramos and Ronaldo, two more first-team choices are believed to be even closer to the exit door.

James Rodriguez has been reinstated to the first team by Zinedine Zidane, but has received a great deal of criticism in recent weeks for his lack of fitness, composure and concentration.

Despite his team recording a 3-1 win over Levante last time out, James Rodriguez has been panned on Spanish television for playing like a ‘sloth’ during his 80 minutes on the pitch. The Colombian is close to a summer exit, but so is Isco, according to ESPN FC.

Real Madrid have reportedly made a decision to sell their midfielder at the end of the season which has put Premier League clubs on red alert. Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United are lining up for the 23-year-old’s signature that would cost them £25 million.

The Spanish midfielder is having a difficult season, but was given a second chance under Zinedine Zidane. Still, his below-par performances in 2016 have seen Real Madrid hierarchy change their stance and Isco is likely to join the line of several aforementioned first-team stars that could be on the move during summer.
