Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that it is his target to win a trophy with the Red Devils this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men took a step closer to that on Monday night as they reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. However, Pogba, who was a goalscorer on the night, has told that he is not satisfied until the team have rectified last season’s trophyless haul.

Talking to MUTV after the victory in the capital, the Frenchman said: “Losing a game after 11 games without losing hurts and it’s a really bad feeling, so you don’t want this to happen again.

“All the competitions are important. We want to win something.

“Last year we didn’t win any trophies. I still remember that. This year we want to win something.”

United now have a last-eight clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux to look forward to. Whilst United still remain in the UEFA Champions League and are in the Premier League top four, the FA Cup might be the most realistic target for glory. Solskjaer’s troops can be backed at odds of 7/2 with Betfair to win the competition come the end of the season.
