Serie A leaders Napoli are said to have secured their first January signing.

Partenopei are expected to make a number of additions during the winter transfer market in an effort to boost their title bid and several names have already been mentioned in the media.

And while the search for a defender continues, the club has confirmed that Striker Roberto Inglese is to be recalled from his loan at Chievo whereas Napoli are also expected to reinforce their squad with Marseille midfielder Zinedine Machach and Ajax winger Amin Younes.

The 24-year-old German left winger who can also be deployed in an advanced position in the midfielder is said to have already agreed to join Napoli this winter with two clubs close to reaching an agreement over a winter move.

Younes is expected to sign a five-year deal with Partenopei which will see him earn €1.5 million a year plus bonuses.

Ajax winger is running out of contract in June and Dutch giants could risk losing him on a free deal unless they agree to do business with Napoli. Partenopei are holding an upper hand in negotiations and are expected to work their way around the €15 million asking price previously determined by Ajax.

According to the Italian media, Napoli will only pay a small compensation to cover the amount Ajax invested in Younes’ salary during the ongoing campaign.

The 24-year-old winger made only nine Eredivisie appearances this season, scoring one goal in the process.
