Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Martin Odegaard ahead of the Europa League game against Bodo/Glimt.
The Gunners will take on Bodo/Glimt away from home at Aspmyra Stadion in Bodø, Norway in UEFA Europa League Group A on Thursday evening.
Norway international attacking midfielder Odegaard has been playing well for the Gunners this season and is likely to start in his native country.
The 23-year-old has scored three goals and given one assist in eight Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far this season.
Odegaard has also made two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League for the Gunners so far this campaign.
Arteta said about Odegaard on Arsenal’s official website: “It’s his journey.
“He started in the spotlight very, very early in his career, and probably that’s why he’s so mature at the age he is at now.
“He’s been around for so long that we forget how old he is. But it’s his journey, he could not pick it.
“He was so good at that age, he got a lot of attention and he dealt with it in a really positive way.”
Arsenal are at the top of UEFA Europa League Group A with six points from two matches, while Bodo/Glimt are third with four points from three games.
The Gunners can be backed at 14/1 on Betfair to 4-0 against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday evening.
