Mark Lawrenson has backed Manchester City to win against Brentford in the Premier League this week.
Defending English champions City will take on London club Brentford at the Etihad Stadium in the league on Wednesday evening.
Pep Guardiola’s side are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 23 matches, nine points clear of second-placed Liverpool, who have played 22 games.
Liverpool legend Lawrenson has backed City to win the match against Brentford 4-0.
Lawrenson told BBC Sport: “Brentford have lost their mojo, suffering five defeats in a row in all competitions and conceding an average of more than three goals a game in that time.
“That’s not the kind of form you want to be in heading to Etihad Stadium, especially with Manchester City playing so well.
“The Bees gave City a good game on their own patch over Christmas and only lost 1-0. This one probably won’t be as close.”
City can be backed at at 15/2 on Betfair to win 4-0 against Brentford.
