Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has said that his side deserved to win against Norwich City at the weekend.

The Whites bounced back from their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Carabao Cup with a 2-1 victory over Norwich City away from home at Carrow Road in the Premier League.

Raphinha and Rodrigo scored for Leeds in the space of five minutes in the second half.

Bielsa told Leeds’s official website: “The performance was a deserved victory, the game was very disputed, it wasn’t an easy game to play for us.

“We had many situations where we could have created danger but despite that, we didn’t manage to create that many.

“The ones we did obtain there wasn’t a great percentage that we could transform into a goal. It was difficult for us to play well with continuity.

“Despite that we had a lot of options in attack, it was difficult for us to create those situations into danger and those dangerous situations into goals.

“In general lines, it was a deserved win, in a game where it was difficult to stand out to shine.”

The win against Norwich means that Leeds are now 17th in the Premier League table with 10 points from 10 matches, just three points above the relegation zone.

The West Yorkshire club can be backed at 12/5 on Betfair to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League table this season.
