Manchester City have announced that they have agreed a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window.
Last season’s Premier League champions have stated that they have ‘reached an agreement in principle’ with German club Dortmund over the transfer of the 21-year-old Norway international striker.
“Manchester City can confirm we have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the Club on 1st July 2022,” reads the statement on City’s official website.
“The transfer remains subject to the Club finalising terms with the player.”
City are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 86 points from 35 matches.
Pep Guardiola’s side will take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League on Wednesday evening and rated at 13/2 on Betfair to win 3-0.
