Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch has urged the fans will get behind the team in their upcoming matches against Aston Villa and Norwich City.

The Whites will take on Villa at Elland Road in the Premier League on Thursday evening.

Leeds will then face Norwich at home in the league on Sunday afternoon.

The West Yorkshire club are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 27 matches, just two points above third-from-bottom Burnley, who have played 26 games.

Marsch told Leeds’s official website: “I have heard from multiple people around the league, friends of mine that are coaches at other teams, and obviously from our players, that this is the best or one of the best environments, loudest and energetic fan bases in the league.

“We need them in these two game games. Everyone in the city knows we need them, everyone in the city knows we need points and results.

“Nobody wants to be satisfied with anything but being in the Premier League next year.”

Leeds can be backed at 12/1 on Betfair to win the Premier League game against Villa 2-1 at Elland Road on Thursday evening.
