Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte has said that he is not going to rush Alexis Sanchez into action.

The Chilean forward signed for the Italian giants in the summer, joining on a loan deal from Manchester United. He has only played one game for Inter so far this season, making a brief cameo in a 1-0 win over Udinese in mid-September.

However, Conte has stated that Sanchez will have to be patient and earn his opportunity before making his full debut at the San Siro.

Talking ahead of his side’s clash with Lazio on Wednesday evening, he said: “For him it is worth the words I give for everyone else.

“When I see ready players, they will be inserted [into the starting line-up]. I have to work in the interest of Inter, not of individuals.”

Inter have started the season extremely well under Conte having chalked up four consecutive victories and currently sit second in the Serie A table. They could potentially go top with a victory this evening, overtaking reigning league champions Juventus.

The Nerazzurri are the more fancied to claim three points and can be backed at odds of 1/1 with William Hill, meanwhile the visitors are available at a price of 27/10.
