Roma vs InterSecond-placed Roma will be aiming to extend the winning run in Italian Serie A when they host Inter Milan on Sunday and put extra pressure on leaders Juventus.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri desperately need a morale-boosting win to kick-start their season, but winning at Stadio Olimpico is easier said than done.

AS Roma have made tremendous progress under Rudi Garcia and they are now in a position to fight for both Serie A trophy and Champions League knockout stages.

The Giallorossi remain in a good position to qualify from Group E despite conceding a late goal in Moscow, with the Stadio Olimpico outfit hosting Manchester City in the final round.

Meanwhile, their league campaign is going according to plan, with Roma sitting mere three points behind leaders Juventus at the moment.

Back to back wins over Torino and Atalanta acted as a major confidence boost and the Giallorossi can now be backed at 1.85 (17/20) to see off Inter as well.

Rudi Garcia will be delighted to welcome back full-back Maicon after Alessandro Florenzi deputized at right-back in Moscow, with the talented winger fit to play despite suffering a thigh problem.

However, Leandro Castan, Vasilis Torosidis, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, Leandro Balzaretti and Gianluca Curci remain on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): De Sanctis – Maicon, Astori, Manolas, Holebas – Nainggolan, De Rossi, Pjanic – Florenzi, Totti, Gervinho.

Inter have been pretty disappointing in the opening exchanges, with Walter Mazzarri eventually getting the boot, but it remains whether new boss Roberto Mancini can save this season.

The Nerazzurri sit in ninth position at the moment, although just five points behind third-placed Napoli, meaning they can still revive their Champions League bid.

Following the poor run of results that cost Mazzarri his job, Inter have shown some improvement, sharing spoils with arch rivals AC Milan before riding their luck to record a 2-1 win over Dnipro in Europa League.

And even though they can take some heart from those performances, there is little value in backing the Nerazzurri to defeat Roma at 5.00 (4/1).

Important players Jonathan, Hernanes and Yuto Nagatomo are all expected to miss out, whilst Nemanja Vidic is doubtful with a knee problem.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Handanovic – Campagnaro, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Dodo – Guarin, Medel, Obi – Kovacic – Icardi, Palacio.
