With Roma enjoying a 3-2 victory in a highly entertaining first leg, everything suggests the return match at Stadio San Paolo is going to provide premium excitement as well.

Having pushed Juventus all the way in the Serie A title chase last term, Napoli were tipped to mount another title challenge seeing as how they had seriously reinforced the squad in the summer.

However, despite showing a lot of promise in the opening exchanges, it soon became clear the Azzurri won’t be able to meet pre-season expectations, with top 3 finish outlined as the new objective.

And while Rafael Benitez’s side finally ended a three-match winless run in the league as they beat AC Milan, they now have a chance to qualify for the Coppa Italia final.

Napoli did well to come from two goals behind in the first leg against Roma, but eventually had to settle for a 3-2 defeat, with Gervinho scoring a late winner.

The Azzurri have been made 2.30 (13/10) favourites to win the return leg while they are the same price to qualify.

Rafael Benitez is expected to field a strong side at Stadio San Paoli, with Jose Callejon, Jorginho and Gokhan Inler likely to start given they are suspended for next league game.

Anthony Reveillere remains doubtful with a thigh problem, whereas Camilo Zuniga and Giandomenico Mesto are definitely out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Reina – Maggio, Fernandez, Albiol, Ghoulam – Inler, Jorginho – Callejon, Hamsik, Pandev – Higuain.

This has been a truly impressive season for Roma, with the Giallorossi exceeding all expectations at the moment and challenging for two domestic trophies.

As things stand now, Rudi Garcia’s side look set to miss out on the league trophy, but they are on the verge of securing Champions League qualification, which has got to be considered a success.

Roma have impressed in their Coppa Italia campaign as well, eliminating Sampdoria and Juventus before enjoying a 3-2 victory over Napoli in the semi-final first leg.

The Giallorossi may have ended a six-match winning run as they shared spoils with bitter rivals Lazio in Derby della Capitale, but it has to be noted they produced another excellent performance.

And given that they are clearly in better form than the opposition, backing Roma to qualify at 1.62 (5/8) might be the right thing to do.

Douglas Maicon and Mehdi Benatia should start despite picking up knocks at the weekend, but Federico Balzaretti and Dodo continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): De Sanctis – Maicon, Benatia, Castan, Torosidis – Pjanic, De Rossi, Strootman – Gervinho, Totti, Ljajic.
