Napoli vs LazioNapoli are in the driving seat after the 1-1 draw in the first leg, but the Azzurri desperately need to show some improvement if they want to reach the Coppa Italia final.

Their opponents Lazio are in excellent spirits after the run of seven straight Serie A wins saw them make a giant step towards Champions League qualification.

Napoli had done pretty well until just over a month ago as they sat in Champions League positions in the league while playing some great football in Europa League.

But, while the Azzurri reached the Europa League quarter-finals, their league campaign has turned into a major disappointment.

Having failed to win any of their last five league fixtures, Napoli slipped to sixth in the standings and they Champions League bid appears to be effectively over.

This is another reason why the Azzurri will be very motivated to reach Coppa Italia final, and they can be backed at 2.30 (13/10) to win the return match.

Rafael Benitez is expected to make some changes to the side that lost to Roma, with Marek Hamsik, Manolo Gabbiadini and Lorenzo Insigne tipped to start.

Gokhan Inler returns from Serie A suspension, leaving Michu as the only unavailable footballer ahead of the trip to Stadio Olimpico.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Andujar – Mesto, Koulibaly, Albiol, Strinic – Inler, Gargano – Gabbiadini, Hamsik, Insigne – Higuain.

While Napoli’s season quickly turned from a success into a major disappointment, Lazio’s campaign have been just the opposite.

The Biancocelesti were not that bad in the first part of the season to start with, but they seriously raised their game after the winter break and are currently enjoying a real resurgence.

Lazio recorded seven straight victories in Serie A to create a six-point advantage over their top 3 rivals, meaning the final Champions League berth is now theirs to lose.

And while they fail to defeat Napoli in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final, Stefano Pioli’s men can still be backed at 2.80 (9/5) to make it to the final.

The likes of Stefan Radu, Filip Djordjevic and Santiago Gentiletti continue to miss out, but Senad Lulic is back in contention.

Coach Pioli is not expected to make major changes to the team that defeated Cagliari on the road, although Danilo Cataldi could be recalled.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Marchetti – Basta, Mauricio, de Vrij, Braafheid – Parolo, Biglia, Cataldi – Candreva, Klose, Anderson.
