Napoli vs JuventusNapoli will be looking to prove they have what it takes to match Italy’s strongest side when they host Juventus at Stadio San Paolo and at the same time remain in the race for the second place in the standings.

The Bianconeri are already 14 points clear at the Serie A summit, but they are hoping to secure another league trophy as soon as possible.

Heavy summer investment hasn’t exactly paid off for Napoli as they failed to mount a serious title bid in the league, which was one of their main objectives.

The Azzurri also crashed out of the Champions League despite proving their worth in the group of death, while their Europa League campaign also came to an end some ten days ago.

Napoli did qualify for the Coppa Italia final, where they will be vying Fiorentina for the coveted trophy, and another positive is they have all but secured Champions League qualification.

With just eight games to go, Rafael Benitez’s charges sit ten points clear of Viola, although they do have some difficult fixtures ahead.

Napoli recovered well from the home defeat to Fiorentina as they recorded a 4-2 triumph at Catania and are now available at 2.90 (19/10) to defeat Juventus as well.

Rafa Benitez faces some selection issues as Valon Behrami and Dries Mertens face fitness tests, whilst Rafael Cabral and Christian Maggio are definitely out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Reina – Henrique, Albiol, Fernandez, Ghoulam – Jorginho, Inker – Callejon, Hamsik, Insigne – Higuain.

Even before the season started Juventus had been seen as the main candidates for the league trophy and Antonio Conte’s men duly delivered.

While crashing out of Champions League and Coppa Italia, the Bianconeri never gave their league rivals any hope to catching them at the top, and as things stand now, they could even break the 100-point mark.

Juventus have won seven consecutive matches in Serie A, conceding just two goals in the process, so no wonder they have been made 2.62 (13/8) favourites to win at Stadio San Paolo.

Their record of five straight clean sheets ended as they conceded to Parma, but Napoli will have to work hard if they want to get past the rock-solid defence.

Carlos Tevez misses out through suspension, with Pablo Osvaldo expected to take his place up front alongside Fernando Llorente.

Andrea Brazagli, Angelo Ogbonna, Simone Pepe and Federico Peluso are out injured, while Antonio Conte could decide to rest one or two starters ahead of the Europa League clash with Lyon.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal, Asamoah – Llorente, Osvaldo.
