Inter vs LazioLazio will be hoping to revive their top 3 hopes when they play host to Genoa, a team that have been on a major downtrend of late.

The Biancocelesti have played some good football this season, but they have recently suffered a dip in form that threatens to ruin their Champions League hopes.

Lazio were sitting pretty in third ahead of the home clash with top 3 rivals Napoli, but they then suffered a costly defeat to the Azzurri, despite largely dominating the proceedings.

Stefano Pioli’s charges then beat AC Milan in Serie A and Coppa Italia, but narrow loss to struggling Cesena acted as another serious blow.

With Lazio now five points behind third-placed Napoli, they face a must-win game against Genoa and can be backed at 1.62 (5/8) to emerge victorious.

Coach Stefano Pioli has received some very good news this week with the likes of Felipe Anderson, Stefan Radu, Stefan de Vrij and Edson Braafheid resuming full training.

However, Filip Djordjevic, Santiago Gentiletti, Mickael Ciani, Senad Lulic and Bruno Pereirinha remain on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Marchetti – Basta, de Vrij, Mauricio, Radu – Parolo, Biglia – Candreva, Mauri, Anderson – Klose.

Genoa enjoyed a brilliant start to the current season, quickly climbing to European positions, but staying there was always going to be a difficult task.

The Rossoblu started to experience problems ahead of the winter break, suffering back to back defeats to Roma and Torino, and they are now winless in last seven fixtures.

Thanks to some impressive results in the opening exchanges, Genoa are still not in danger of getting involved in the relegation tussle, but they are on the verge of slipping into the bottom half of the standings.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side showed some improvement to hold Fiorentina to a 1-1 draw, and they are 2.48 (37/25) not to lose at Stadio Olimpico.

Defender Nicolas Burdisso is banned, whilst Tino Costa, Luca Antonini and Giovanni Marchese miss out through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Perin – Roncaglia, Izzo, De Maio, Edenilson – Bertolacci, Rincon, Kucka – Falque, Niang, Perotti.
