AC Milan v Juventus FC - Serie ALast season’s title rivals Juventus and Milan are now set to battle each other for a place in the Coppa Italia semis, with the Bianconeri having the courtesy of playing the all-important match in front of home crowd.

Juventus have done brilliantly to return to old glory days under Antonio Conte, but it all started with the Old Lady showing a lot of character to pip Milan to the Serie A title last term.

The Bianconeri picked up where they left off last season and produced some impressive showings in the current league campaign to create a five-point cushion at the top, while also doing well in Champions League and Coppa Italia.

Team’s six-match winning run came to an abrupt end at the weekend as they were beaten at home by Sampdoria, with their opponents scoring both goals with ten men on the pitch.

With that in mind, Juventus players will be very motivated to return to winning ways and make amends for the minor setback, so bear in mind BetVictor pays 1.75 (3/4) on home win.

On a related note, the same bookmaker has the Bianconeri at 3.25 (11/4) to lift the Coppa Italia trophy this season.

Claudio Marchisio was added to the lengthy injury list that also contains Simone Pepe, Nicklas Bendtner and Giorgio Chiellini, while Kwadwo Asamoah is away on international duty.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres – Lichtsteiner, Vidal, Marrone, Pogba, Peluso – Matri, Quaglierella.

AC Milan have suffered all kinds of problems during the off season, so it is fair to say the Rossoneri have done really well this season considering the circumstances.

Club chiefs did the right thing by staying behind talented coach Max Allegri when everybody was calling for him to be sacked and they were soon rewarded for the voice of confidence.

Milan managed to qualify for Champions League knockout stages and Coppa Italia quarter-finals, while significantly improving their position in the Serie A standings.

Given the Rossoneri won seven of last nine fixtures in all competitions, there may be some value in odds of 5.25 (17/4) offered at bet365 on away win.

Robinho and Luca Antonini have both resumed full training and could play some part, but Didac Vila, Nigel de Jong, Djamel Mesbah, Kevin Constant, Daniele Bonera and Mario Yepes are definitely out.

Cristian Zapata is likely to miss out with a bout of flu, whereas Urby Emanuelson, Sulley Muntari and Bojan Krkic are pushing for starting places.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Abbiati – De Sciglio, Mexes, Acerbi, Antonini – Montolivo, Ambrosini, Emanuelson – Krkic – Pazzini, El Shaarawy.
