Italian giants Juventus will hope to beat Real Madrid to the signature of French superstar Kylian Mbappe next summer, according to reports.

As per TuttoSport, the Old Lady are determined to swoop for Mbappe ahead of Real Madrid and could launch their bid to sign him as early as next summer.

Juventus have long been reported as admirers of Mbappe but have previously been priced out of a move, with his current club Paris Saint Germain placing an extraordinarily high transfer fee on his head.

However, with his contract at the Parc des Princes set to expire at the conclusion of the 2021/22 campaign, the club could be willing to sell, with Juventus hoping to launch ‘Operation Mbappe’ in a bid to deter the advances of Real Madrid.

Since breaking through at AS Monaco, the 20-year-old has enjoyed a meteoric rise. Playing a key role in the club’s Ligue 1 title success, PSG splashed the cash to bring him to the French capital, where he has won a further two league titles.

Throughout his so far short career, he has netted 96 goals in all club competitions, as well as 13 for his national team, with whom he won the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Despite claims that Juventus could be rivals for his signature, Liverpool remain the shock favourites to sign Mbappe next summer and can be backed at a price of 3/1 with Betfair.
