Udinese vs Inter 0-3Having suffered a serious blow to their Europa League hopes by losing at home to Atalanta, Inter Milan desperately need to return to winning ways when they host Udinese.

The Zebrette edged closer to Serie A survival with a narrow win over Sassuolo, and they arrive at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in good spirits.

This has been a pretty turbulent season for the Nerazzurri, who are still hoping to at least secure Europa League qualification.

Inter appeared to be in a good position following back to back triumphs over Torino and Hellas Verona, but home setback against Atalanta changed everything.

It saw them slip to sixth in the league standings behind Parma, and no doubt Walter Mazzarri’s charges will be in all sorts of problems if they also fail to beat Udinese.

However, having won the reverse fixture at Friuli 3-0, Inter have been made 1.70 (7/10) favourites to win the Thursday’s clash as well.

Juan Jesus and Yuto Nagatomo are set to be recalled to the starting line-up, with Hugo Campagnaro and Danilo D’Ambrosio likely to make way.

Esteban Cambiasso should be fit to play despite picking up an ankle problem, but Cristian Chivu remains on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Handanovic – Rolando, Ranocchia, Jesus – Jonathan, Hernanes, Cambiasso, Guarin, Nagotomo – Palacio, Icardi.

Just like their next opponents, Udinese will be looking to quickly forget the current season, with the team performing well below the expectations.

For the first time after quite a while, Francesco Guidolin was unable to properly rebuild the squad in the summer, which in turn prevented the team from showing all they’ve got.

The good news is Udinese are no longer in the danger zone and a ten-point advantage over the bottom three should prove more than enough to ensure survival.

Home wins over Milan and Sassuolo have seriously improved the atmosphere in the squad, while a good performance in a 3-2 defeat to Roma was also a step in the right direction.

And having scored five goals in last three away matches in Serie A, Udinese look a good bet to score at odds of 1.60 (3/5).

Starting full-back Dusan Basta misses out through suspension, but there are no other worries for boss Francesco Guidolin.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-1-1): Scuffet – Heurtaux, Danilo, Domizzi – Widmer, Yebda, Allan, Badu, Silva – Pereyra – Di Natale.
