Udinese vs FiorentinaHaving suffered a 2-1 defeat in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals, Fiorentina hope to overturn the deficit and get into a position to win their first trophy since 2001.

Their opponents Udinese go into the return leg high on confidence having continued with impressive results in the league by hammering Chievo.

Considering everything that has happened to Fiorentina this term, everybody at the club can be happy with how this season has panned out, although the team need to enjoy a strong finish to the campaign if they are to realise their pre-season ambitions.

Having missed several excellent chances to close the gap behind top 3 rivals Napoli, Viola finally ended the poor run as they beat Atalanta at home, but they, nonetheless, remained three points adrift of Champions League positions.

Just three days later, Vincenzo Montella’s charges face another difficult match as they host in-form Udinese in Coppa Italia semi-final return leg.

However, with Fiorentina pretty convincing at their Artemio Franchi, bear in mind home win pays 1.65 (13/20) at 888sport.

Key midfielder Borja Valero misses out through suspension, with January signing Anderson expected to take his place. Massimo Ambrosini and Alberto Aquilani are injury doubts

Vincenzo Montella is hoping to have Gonzalo Rodriguez back from a muscle problem, whereas Mario Gomez could make the bench after a five-month injury lay-off.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Neto – Roncaglia, Rodriguez, Savic, Pasqual – Anderson, Pizarro, Fernandez – Cuadrado, Matri, Vargas.

This season has been a real rollercoaster ride for Udinese, but the good news is the Zebrette could still turn it into a success.

Following some disappointing showings that saw them slip into the danger zone in Serie A, Francesco Guidolin’s side have finally raised their form, having recorded back to back triumphs over Bologna and Chievo.

Meanwhile, the Friulani have been thoroughly impressive in Coppa Italia, having eliminated Inter Milan and AC Milan before winning the first semi-final leg against Fiorentina.

The visitors obviously hope to continue the trend at Artemio Franchi, and they are 2.10 (11/10) to qualify for the final for the first time in history.

Udinese will have Allan, Danilo and Giampiero Pinzi back from suspension, but first choice keeper Zeljko Brkic remains doubtful.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-1-1): Scuffet – Heurtauz, Domizzi, Bubnjic – Widmer, Pinzi, Allan, Pereyra, Gabriel Silva – Lopez – Muriel.
