Chievo aim to pour more misery on Milan and cement their place in the top half of the standings with a win at Bentegodi, whereas the Rossoneri can return to the Serie A summit and hope Juventus will slip up against Lazio.

The Flying Donkeys have really justified their nickname this season, seeing that team’s performances are exceeding all expectations.

Chievo were expected to avoid the relegation struggle, but not even the most optimistic fans could predict their beloved team would be sitting in 9th place after 31 Serie A rounds.

Back to back wins over Fiorentina and Catania acted as major confidence boost and now the Flying Donkeys aim to try and extend their unbeaten run to five games. Domenico Di Carlo’s side are 2.38 (11/8) with bet365 not to lose at Bentegodi.

Bojan Jokic and Boukari Drame are both injury doubts, whereas Nikola Gulan, Davide Moscardelli, Francesco Acerbi and Fernando Uribe are definitely out.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-2-1): Sorrentino – Frey, Andreolli, Dainelli, Sardo – Luciano, Rigoni, Bradley – Thereau – Paloschi, Pellissier.

AC Milan looked to be heading for a very successful season, but the latest run of results is threatening to hurt their ambitions.

While the Rossoneri were not really expected to eliminate Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals, they were tipped to remain in the driving seat for the Serie A title with good results against Catania and Fiorentina.

Milan did take one point from one of the most difficult grounds in Serie A, but the home defeat to Fiorentina allowed Juventus to leapfrog them in the standings and seriously damaged the good atmosphere in the squad.

The Rossoneri now have no choice but to try and beat Chievo at Bentegodi, and they are 1.67 (2/3) with Ladbrokes to do so.

Selection problems continue to mount for Max Allegri seeing that Daniele Bonera, Massimo Ambrosini and Alberto Aquilani are all suspended for this clash.

Kevin-Prince Boateng, Luca Antonini and Clarence Seedorf are all injury doubts, but Alessandro Nesta and Mark van Bommel return to the side.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Abbiati – Abate, Nesta, Mexes, Zambrotta – Nocerino, Van Bommel, Muntari – Robinho – Ibrahimovic, Maxi Lopez.
