Juventus will be aiming to extend their unbeaten start to the Serie A season against Atalanta at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia on Saturday afternoon.

The Old Lady have enjoyed a stunning start to the campaign thus far and are sitting top of the table having only failed to win two matches in the league. As a matter of fact, they have not lost a match in any competition since a 2-0 defeat to Sampdoria on the final day of last season. Meanwhile, Gian Piero Gasperini’s men have too enjoyed a profitable start to the campaign and sit fifth, only two points outside of the UEFA Champions League places.

It should be a severely entertaining tie between the two sides, having each produced some great results this season. Atalanta are one of the highest scorers in Serie A, with 12 of their games in all competitions seeing both sides find the back of the net. Meanwhile, Juventus possess arguably some of the finest attacking talents in the world with Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain. Both teams to score in Saturday’s match can be backed at a price of 4/7 with Paddy Power.

Another aspect that could see Atalanta succeed is their form at home against Juventus. Maurizio Sarri’s troops have not managed to earn maximum points on their travels against Atalanta since a 2-0 success back in March 2016. The last time they came together, the match ended a 1-1 draw, with Josip Ilicic having his opener cancelled out by Mario Mandzukic. Juventus are available at odds of 8/5 with William Hill to break that particular streak and claim victory. Meanwhile, a draw is at 12/5, with a loss at 13/8.

For that to happen though, Serie A’s most prolific marksmen will have to once again be in top form. Luis Muriel has been prolific so far this season having already scored eight league goals in only five starts. He is of course one of the favourites to net the opener and is available at 5/1 with Betfred. Meanwhile, Ronaldo will always be at the top of the list for those particular stakes, and is this time slightly more favoured at a price of 4/1.

Sarri does have a couple of injury worries ahead of the match at the weekend. Central defender Giorgio Chiellini remains out with a serious knee injury, with Marko Pjaca also restricted to the sidelines. Elsewhere, Atalanta remain in a good way, with a clean bill of health ahead of the match.
