Samp vs MilanAC Milan will be looking for their third straight win and an opportunity to close the gap behind rivals for European positions when they host Sampdoria at San Siro.

Meanwhile, the Blucerchiati are hoping to produce a perfect response to the 2-0 loss at Fiorentina and revive their top 3 bid.

This season has been a real rollercoaster ride for AC Milan as the team have once again failed to live up to the billing.

Inexperienced coach Pippo Inzaghi didn’t quite manage to prove his coaching credentials and there is a chance he will be sacked at the end of the season.

Much will depend on team’s results in the final nine matches of the season, when Milan will mostly be facing Italy’s strongest sides.

And having finally recorded back to back wins in Serie A, for the first time since October, the Rossoneri are 2.00 (1/1) to make it three in a row.

Adil Rami, Cristian Zapata and Cristian Zaccardo are back in contention, but Marco van Ginkel and Giacomo Bonaventura are rated doubtful.

Keisuke Honda, Riccardo Montolivo, Hachim Mastour, Stephan El Shaarawy and Michael Agazzi remain on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Lopez – Abate, Paletta, Mexes, Antonelli – Poli, de Jong, Van Ginkel – Cerci, Destro, Menez.

Sampdoria proved to be the biggest surprise package of the Serie A campaign, with Sinisa Mihajlovic’s charges doing much better than anyone could predict.

The Blucerchiati have been especially impressive over the last couple of months, having even mounted a serious top 3 bid.

Sampdoria had climbed to fourth in the league standings by winning four matches in a row, before the 2-0 defeat to Fiorentina saw them slip to fifth.

And while Champions League qualification looks unlikely given the seven-point gap behind Lazio, the Blucerchiati stand a decent chance of qualifying for Europa League.

Sampdoria will make a giant step towards their goal by winning at San Siro and they are 4.20 (16/5) to succeed in their quest.

Vasco Regini misses the Milan clash through suspension, while Lorenzo De Silvestri is doubtful through an ankle problem.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Viviano – De Silvestri, Silvestre, Romagnoli, Mesbah – Obiang, Palombo, Soriano – Eto’o – Eder, Muriel.
