Free-spending AC Milan have moved to confirm interest in €100 million rated Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

The Rossoneri have been Europe’s highest spenders this summer, having splashed out around €155 million on new players already, but they have no plans to stop just yet.

AC Milan are still looking for a high-profile striker and they will attempt to recruit Torino’s Andrea Belotti.

“It’s true that we’re looking for a striker, but we’re not in a hurry and we’ll take the best one for us,” the Rossoneri chief Massimiliano Mirabelli told Corriere dello Sport.

“Belotti? We like great players and he’s one of those. You can’t always get the things you like though, the asking price and the offer would have to dovetail…

“The valuation that we put on Belotti is the highest in the history of Milan [believed to be €60m].

“Is Nikola Kalinic the second choice? For journalists he could be considered a second choice, we don’t have first, second or third choices.“

Following the heavy summer recruitment, AC Milan can be backed at 8.00 (7/1) to lift the Serie A trophy next season.
