Manchester United central defender Harry Maguire has said that he is ready to turn out for England against the Czech Republic on Tuesday evening.
Maguire is part of the England squad for the ongoing Euro 2020 finals.
However, the United centre-back has yet to make an appearance for Gareth Southgate’s side due to injury problems.
The 28-year-old missed the final weeks of last season for the Red Devils due to a high ankle sprain he suffered in early May.
Maguire was not in the England squad for the 1-0 win against Croatia in the opening Euro 2020 Group D fixture.
The former Sheffield United star was on the substitutes’ bench for the Three Lions’ goalless draw with Scotland at Wembley Stadium in London last week.
England will take on the Czech Republic in their final group game on Tuesday evening.
Maguire could play for Southgate’s team, and the United defender has said that he is feeling good ahead of a possible return.
The defender told Sky Sports: “I’m feeling good. Obviously [after] the ankle injury, it’s getting stronger, I’m getting more confident.
“The more sessions I do, the more games I play, I’m sure I’ll get more confidence – and that’s the thing with these type of injuries
“I think it’s just about building the confidence. It’s all stable now and I’m available and ready to go.”
Betfair has England’s chances of winning match 3-0 against the Czech Republic at 10/1.
