Following his suberb display for his country in their 4-2 victory over England last Wednesday, talk has the whereabouts of Sweden’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic following January’s transfer window has inevitably become a topic for debate.

Having only signed for current club Paris Saint German in the summer, the chances are that the 6ft 5 striker will stay where he is, though Sky Bet are offering odds on a number of potential destinations; the favourite being English Champions Manchester City at 21.0 (20/1).

The Swede played under City manager Roberto Mancini back at Inter Milan, where the two celebrated back-to-back title winning successes in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 campaigns, though any chance of the pair being reunited would surely have to follow the departure of one of the four attackers currently plying their trade at the Etihad, or in other words Mario Balotelli, who incidentally, is a 4.5 (7/2) shot to join the French Ligue 1 leaders.

With Fernando Torres as their only out and out striker, European Champions Chelsea may inquire of Ibrahimovic’s availability, and are a 34.0 (33/1) chance to secure his services, though they are strongly linked with Athletico Madrid’s Falcao.

The same price is available for Real Madrid to make the signing. Like Roberto Mancini, Jose Mourinho won the Serie A title with Ibrahimovic at Inter Milan before selling him to Barcelona in 2009, though rumours suggested that the Spanish Champions were inquiring about his availability before he moved to Paris.

Four of Ibrahimovic’s previous clubs are also in the running, with Barcelona a 41.0 (40/1) shot. AC Milan are priced at 26.0 (25/1) despite only letting him go a few months ago, while rivals Internazionale are available at 41.0 (40/1), and Serie A leaders Juventus are 34.0 (33/1). Incredibly, in his time with the four aforementioned clubs, the striker won seven league titles, though his two with the Old Lady were rescinded following the Calcipoli scandal.

Manchester United complete the list as 41.0 (40/1) outsiders, while Ladbrokes offer a price of 3.0 (2/1) the 31 year old will play in the Premier League before he retires.
