Arsene Wenger was impressed by Leeds United after the Whites gave Arsenal a real value for their money in their FA Cup 3rd round tie.

Following the 1:1 draw at the Emirates, Arsenal won 3:1 at Elland Road, with amazing Leeds fans showing just what the Premier League has been missing over the last few years.

“Leeds in the two games impressed me with the way they were organized, their spirit and their physical qualities as well. They have a chance to come back into the Premiership,” said Wenger after the match.

Leeds boss Simon Grayson was satisfied with his team’s efforts in both games.

“If you’re going to get knocked out, you might as well get knocked out by one of the best teams in Europe if not the world.

“We went out fighting and we’ve shown great spirit and some real quality. The players can be very proud of what they’ve done, and it’s been a proud time for the club and the city. But Arsenal’s class came through in the end.”

Should the Whites continue playing like this, nobody would be surprised if they manage to return to the top flight at the end of the season, with Victor Chandler paying 5.00 (4/1) on Leeds to gain promotion this term.
