Sevilla are chasing a one-goal deficit after losing the first leg 1:0 at Mestalla, with Valencia clearly the favourites to make it to Copa del Rey quarter-finals.

Sevilla enjoyed a pretty good start to the season despite the changes the squad had undergone in the summer, but los Rojiblancos are now going through a very rough patch.

Marcelino Garcia Toral’s side lost last three La Liga games, while also losing to Valencia in the Copa del Rey last 16 stage first leg, and they desperately need a morale-boosting win to kick-start their season.

Los Rojiblancos clearly face a difficult task against very good Valencia side, so odds of 2.40 (7/5) offered by 188BET on home win don’t look too tempting.

After recording four straight wins at home, Sevilla have won just one of their last five league games at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, while they could only muster a narrow Copa del Rey win over minnows San Roque.

Key midfielder Jesus Navas remains doubtful with a hamstring problem, whereas new signing Jose Antonio Reyes should be fit to play after recovering from a muscle injury.

Manu del Moral returns after suspension, while Andres Palop will be given a chance to impress between the sticks.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Palop – Caceres, Spahic, Fazio, Navarro – Medel, Rakitic – Navas, Trochowski, Manu – Kanoute.

Valencia have been doing pretty well this season and they are on the road to finish their third straight La Liga campaign just behind El Clasico rivals.

The elimination from the Champions League allowed Unai Emery’s side to fully focus on domestic competitions, and with third place in La Liga virtually secured, los Che are now eager to try and reach the final stages of Copa del Rey.

The very strong starting line-up that the gaffer fielded in the first leg is the perfect proof, and 1:0 win from the first match gave Valencia a good advantage before the match at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Considering Sevilla’s poor run of form, backing Valencia to qualify for the next round at odds of 1.40 (2/5) offered by Bet365 looks like the right thing to do.

Unai Emery is expected to make a couple of changes to the starting line-up, with Aritz Aduriz, Tino Costa and Pablo Hernandez all expected to start.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Alves – Miguel, Rami, Ruiz, Alba – Costa, Albelda – Hernandez, Jonas, Mathieu – Aduriz.
