Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi have been forced to withdraw from France squad due to injuries.

Les Bleus currently lead group D, one point clear of Bosnia-Hercegovina, the team they will host in the final group game.

Before that, Laurent Blanc’s side host Albania in Paris, and the talented coach faces numerous selection problems before the decisive Euro 2012 qualifiers.

After Karim Benzema and Bacary Sagna were ruled out of the final two qualifiers, Franck Ribery and Blaise Matudi has joined the long injury list.

“Karim Benzema, Franck Ribery and Blaise Matuidi showed up on Monday morning to visit the team at Clairefontaine France and were immediately subjected to an examination by Dr Fabrice Bryand,” read a statement at France Football Federation’s website.

“The MRI scans confirmed that none of these three players would be able to play in the Euro 2012 matches against Albania or Bosnia-Herzegovina at the Stade de France.

“As of 8.45pm (on Monday night), Laurent Blanc had not yet made a decision on whether to call up one or more players.”

France are now 1.15 (3/20) with 188BET to win first place in Group D, whereas Bosnia-Hercegovina are 6.50 (11/2) with Victor Chandler to achieve automatic qualification.
