Parma remained in the top part of the table despite the defeat to Novara, and they are now hoping to return to winning ways against one of the worst travelers in Serie A.

Il Ducali are doing pretty well this season for their standards, and as long as they continue winning most of their home games, the team will have no problems staying alive.

Having won four of six home games this season, Parma have got to be considered favourites in this clash, especially as Palermo have only brought one point from the travels this term. Ladbrokes has the highest price on home win, 2.15 (23/20).

Il Ducali missed a great chance to record one of the rare away wins as they had the lead against Novara, but the hosts scored two goals in the second period to record an invaluable win.

Sergio Floccari misses out with a muscle injury and he will be replaced by Graziano Pelle, whereas Modesto and Gobbi remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Mirante – Zaccardo, Paletta, Lucarelli, Rubin – Biabiany, Galloppa, Morrone, Valiani – Giovinco – Pelle.

Palermo are slowly becoming one of the most predictable sides in Serie A, but that may not be such a bad thing for the Rosanero.

Despite bringing just one point from six away games, Palermo sit in fifth place in the Serie A standings, and they have only their remarkable home form to thank to.

Together with Udinese, the Rosanero are one of just two sides that have won all their home games this season, and with their away record also in mind no wonder they are referred to as Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde team.

Devis Mangia’s side obviously have little to hope for before the trip to Parma, but you should still know they are 4.00 (3/1) with Victor Chandler to record their first away victory.

The visitors face big selection problems as Fabrizio Miccoli, Abel Hernandez and Eran Zahavi are all sidelined, meaning that young Ignacio Lores-Varela should start.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-2-1): Benussi – Pisano, Silvestre, Migliaccio, Balzaretti – Barreto, Bacinovic, Acquah – Lores-Varela, Ilicic – Pinilla.
