Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar has returned to training following a positive coronavirus test.

According to Sky Sports News, the Brazilian is fit enough to train but away from his teammates to remain in line with Ligue 1 protocols.

He had previously tested positive for COVID-19 alongside seven other players at the Parc des Princes but was feeling ‘very good’ despite that test. Other players to have given back positive results include the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Angel Di Maria, Keylor Navas and Leandro Paredes, amongst others.

Those to have tested positive were then required to carry out a mandatory seven-day quarantine.

Thomas Tuchel’s men are currently preparing for their second game of domestic action in the 2020/21 season. Having fallen in the UEFA Champions League final to Bayern Munich just a month ago, the Parisians also had a horrendous start to the new season, being edged out by newly-promoted Lens 1-0, courtesy of a Ignatius Ganago strike.

They do have a tough test this weekend as they face Olympique Marseille, who beat Brest 3-2 last time out, at home. The reigning champions are understandably the favourites and sit at a price of 4/6 with William Hill to claim their first league victory of the campaign.
