Marco Reus out for Germany

Marco Reus injuryBorussia Dortmund star Marco Reus will miss Germany’s games against Gibraltar and Spain due to a fresh ankle injury.

The highly rated forward missed the 2014 World Cup with an ankle problem and he has now suffered a new setback.

Reus injured himself in weekend’s triumph over Borussia M’gladbach and appears set to miss at least few weeks of action.

“Marco Reus will have to sit out the final two internationals of the year. The Germany international and Borussia Dortmund star is suffering from a torn ligament and tendon as well as a swollen ankle,” read a statement on the German Football Association’s official website.

Reus is unlikely to be missed in the Euro 2016 qualifier against minnows Gibraltar, where over 9.5 goals pays 1.90 (9/10) with 888sport.

Die Mannschaft end the year with an international friendly against Spain before resuming the qualifying campaign in March with an away game against Georgia.
