Lyon vs Bordeaux preview

This could be the last chance for one of the two French giants to return to the title race, although Lyon are in a better position at the moment.

Les Gones are seven points behind leaders Lille after losing to Valenciennes last weekend and they have no choice but to go for a win here.

Claude Puel doesn’t have too many selection worries at the moment, with Dejan Lovren and Ederson the only two players unavailable for this clash.

Bordeaux, too, have been pretty disappointing this season as les Girondins currently sit in 10th place, although last week’s win over Nice did help the players restore some of the lost confidence.

Just like his counterpart, Jean Tigana will have almost full squad to choose from with centre-back Henrique the only casualty at the moment.

Bodog sees Lyon as favourites and they pay 1.73 (8/11) on home win, while odds on draw are 3.40 (12/5). Bordeaux are priced 5.00 (4/1) to triumph at Gerland.
