Argentina forward Sergio Aguero is rated doubtful for the clashes against Bolivia and Colombia, after picking up a groin injury in training.

The Manchester City forward picked up a groin injury few weeks ago and it seems that he has now suffered a recurrence of the same problem.

Sergio Aguero was expected to start Argentina’s 2014 World Cup qualifier against Bolivia, but he could now be replaced by PSG’s Javier Pastore.

Argentina boss Alejandro Sabella has revealed that Aguero may not be able to feature against Bolivia.

“Sergio Aguero has a sore groin and is doubtful for the match against Bolivia. In the event that Aguero does not play, Javier Pastore may replace him.”

Sabella then revealed the remainder of the starting line-up.

“The rest of the team to play Bolivia is: Sergio Romero, Pablo Zabaleta, Nicolas Burdisso, Martin Demichelis, Clemente Rodriguez, Fernando Gago, Javier Mascherano, Ricardo Alvarez, Lionel Messi and Gonzalo Higuain. We do not know whether Aguero will be able to play.”

Argentina are seen as hot favourites in the home game against Bolivia, with home win paying 1.13 (1/8) at Stan James.
