The derby of Rheinland will see struggling Koln play host to high-flying Borussia Moenchengladbach in what should be a very interesting game at RheinEnergie Stadion.

Boasting pretty much the same squad as last season and led by amazing Lukas Podolski, Koln were expected to play a major role in this year’s Bundesliga campaign, but they are finding it hard to cope with the pressure of expectations.

The Billy Goats did manage to stabilize their home form, having won last three games at RheinEnergie after taking just one point from first three matches there, but the fact that they are 3.30 (23/10) with Bet365 to win this game proves that the bookies don’t really trust them to beat in-form Borussia.

The uncertainty surrounding Lukas Podolski’s future at the club is definitely having a negative effect on the team’s performances, as witnessed by just one victory in last four games.

The Billy Goats now face a tough task in the clash with very good Borussia side, although their motivation should never come into question.

Kevin Pezzoni could come in for suspended Martin Lanig, while Anmar El Jemal, Milivoje Novakovic and Sereno are unavailable.

Probable starting line-up (4-5-1): Rensing – Brecko, Pezzoni, Geromel, Eichner – Clemens, Jajalo, Reihter, Peszko, Matuszczyk – Podolski.

Borussia Moenchengladbach are without a doubt the surprise package of the season in German Bundesliga as the team that narrowly avoided relegation last term now sit in 3rd place.

Coach Lucien Favre has got to be given credit for club’s uptrend in fortunes, just like the talented midfielder Marco Reus, who’s been in incredible form at the start to the season.

After scoring no less than 7 goals in last 3 games, the Germany international is 3.20 (11/5) with Unibet to bag at least once against Koln.

Borussia have been in impressive form of late, recording narrow wins over Hannover and Hertha before hammering Werder Bremen at home, and they are now 2.30 (13/10) with William Hill to make it four in a row.

Forward Igor de Camargo has resumed full training and he will be in contention for the starting place, but Favre is likely to stick with Mike Hanke up front.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Ter Stegen – Jantschke, Stranzl, Dante, Daems – Nordtveit, Neustadter – Hermann, Reus, Arango – Hanke.
