Inter vs Roma preview

The derby game at Giuseppe Meazza could effectively rule out one or even both teams out of the title race, meaning the stakes are high in this clash.

Inter largely struggled against bottom-placed Bari but somehow managed to record a big win, mostly thanks to new signings Kharja and Pazzini.

Wesley Sneijder is set to return to the starting line-up after the great cameo role against Bari, with Diego Milito likely to be dropped.

Cristian Chivu is banned, while Lucio, Samuel, Mariga, Stankovic and Castellazzi remain on the sidelines. Ivan Cordoba should start alongside Andrea Rannochia, while Yuto Nagatomo could be handed a debut.

Roma slipped to fifth after failing to beat Brescia, which means they have got to win this game in order to stay in the title race.

Francesco Totti is a major doubt as he is suffering from flu, so Vucinic and Borriello should start up front.

Nicolas Burdisso will deputize for suspended Mexes, while Adriano remains out on the sidelines.

Inter are priced at 2.00 (1/1) to win the game, while away win pays 4.00 (3/1). The odds on draw are 3.50 (5/2).
